 1. As to the teaching material:
   This lesson is chosen from Unit7 Section B 2a-2E, Junior English Book 5.This is the third lesson of this unit,and students are to learn some new words ,and then learn to talk about Liu Yu’s future using the phrases learnt in this unit. The focus of this lesson is on reading and speaking skills.
 
 2. As to learners:
   Learners have formed the habits of cooperating and communicating. This is the 1st term of Junior Grade 3 for the learners. They are able to talk in English. They are active and curious, and they like team-work, but they are afraid of losing face, so group-work is designed and teacher should try to involve them in class.

In the video,I will put many pictures about Liu Yu’s growth.By the way, I will put the important language points in the pictures.

Now,we know that Liu Yu’s parents want him to study hard and go to university,but how about Liu Yu’s idea?
Let’s read the passage for the first time and then answer the following questions.
